Kallie and Alex were married on a clear, crisp day in early February 2022. They love spending their free time on the water and also wanted to show off the beauty of Seattle since their friends and family were coming from around the country. The MV Skansonia offered a waterfront view of the Seattle skyline and a prime location, making it the perfect fit for their wedding vision.
They had dreamed up a moody winter wedding with PNW vibes. They mixed deep burgundies, dark blues and forest green with accents of light pink to represent the stunning winter sunsets during Washington winters. Their photographer, Natalie Hills took them through Pike Place Market for some candid shots before taking bridal party and family photos on the boat.
And as if they manifested it, they were gifted with the most beautiful, golden sunset. When asked about their favorite wedding moment they said, "We will never forget seeing our faces and those of our friends and family coated in that golden hour light while the sky was painted purple and pink."

Check out those details on Kallie's Lover's Society dress! Stunning! The long sleeves definitely complemented the winter vibe. Another fun aspect of hosting a Seattle winter wedding is everyone can get creative with jackets like these two lovely ladies who are still nice and warm while they sip their rose.
Kallie and Alex served two signature drinks, The Miguel and The Good Boys. I don't know who Miguel is but he sounds spicy! Their favorite menu item was a custom request - empanadas! Unfortunately they are not pictured here because they were probably eaten so quickly. Landmark is always open to special custom items to incorporate into your boat wedding menu - just ask your coordinator! They finished off their meal with cupcakes through Morfeys and a late night Poutine Bar!
Kallie works in recruiting and on their first date Alex thought she was actually recruiting him for a job since she was so interested in his line of work. Turns out she was just recruiting him to be her husband! They wanted a fun activity for their guests that was special to them and not your average corn hole or photobooth. Alex loves hunting so they rented a Big Buck Hunter arcade game for guests to enjoy!
