In the heart of Fremont, the self-declared Center of the Universe, the Foundry was a working metal foundry and artist commune built by local sculptor Peter Bevis, where some of Seattle’s most iconic public art was cast, the Jimi Hendrix statue among it. Three levels are yours for the day: a sky-lit atrium under twenty-foot ceilings, an outdoor courtyard for cocktails, and a rooftop terrace with sweeping views.

What can we answer for you?

Yes. Your event includes access to all three levels of Fremont Foundry, including the rooftop deck, entire Penthouse, second-floor mezzanine, getting-ready space, garden, and first floor.

Yes. If the weather turns, the Atrium can be used as an indoor ceremony space for up to 200 guests. If you would still like an outdoor ceremony, the rooftop can also be tented. Please speak with your Venue Coordinator about tenting availability and pricing.

Is There a Getting-Ready Space on Site? Yes. A getting-ready space is included as part of the venue access.

Free street parking is available around Fremont Foundry, and there are two surface parking lots within the block that typically charge $10 per day. Valet, shuttle, and parking attendant services are also available through Butler Valet.

Helium balloons are not permitted at Fremont Foundry because of the vaulted ceilings.

I grew up in Wisconsin and spent time living in Nevada but have spent enough time in the PNW to think of it as home.

My favorite event moment is when the guests come up to the rooftop and get a sense of the sky, the view, and the setting of the ceremony. It is a very unexpected setting and so the juxtaposition of the building and its surroundings with the open sky is wonderful to experience for the first time (again) - through their eyes.
